Steve is from Roseville, Minnesota and graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1997. Prior to attending law school, Steve spent one year working at McMurdo Station, Antarctica for the National Science Foundation. In 2004, Steve received his JD from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Steve lives in Encinitas with his wife, son, and two dogs.
